To put it simply, PAIZO is all about creating sustainable, vegan-friendly and stylish essentials for kids. Everything made by Paizo is designed in a way that encourages play while supporting and caring for developing children.

Let’s Talk About The Name…

PAIZO, a Greek word meaning "play", represents a sense of childhood fun, joy and imagination.

Our design process is done in the UK but everything we offer holds a strong Greek connection in both creation and production. Each item is handmade, in a small family-run factory in Greece.

Every day we work towards a world of eco-friendly, sustainable fashion that moves away from fast fashion. Making our shoes, feeding sets, bibs and other items by hand and in small quantities helps us stay close to what matters to us.

The story of this sustainable kids brand began with a mum who felt frustrated, just like many other parents, when searching for sustainable footwear for her children. Felesha, the founder of PAIZO, discovered how difficult it was to find truly sustainable kids' shoes.

This challenge sparked her exciting journey to create beautiful products that are both good for the planet and great for little adventurers.

Collection & Co - The Sustainable Adult Brand To PAIZO

Building on her experience in sustainable fashion, Felesha began to work on the idea of a children's brand to Collection & Co, her sustainable, vegan, and ethical adult footwear brand.

With Felesha’s desire to create eco-friendly footwear and accessories for kids and the regular requests from her Collection & Co customers to create something stylish and sustainable for their little adventurers' feet…PAIZO was born.

Summertime brings warm sunny days that are filled with play, adventures and new experiences. It’s when so many priceless family memories are made.

So, it makes sense that PAIZO used such a wonderful time as inspiration. At PAIZO, we've designed our shoes to capture the spirit of summer. Drawing inspiration from the sun, sea and sand, our lightweight and breathable creations are perfect for little explorers enjoying garden, beach or pool play.

Quality Materials For Growing Feet

While designing and choosing the materials for our children's footwear we work hard to get it just right. Every kid who steps into our shoes will get the support and comfort they deserve to begin their exciting journey.

All the materials we use are durable yet light and flexible, supportive yet breathable and of course, super comfortable. Our fabrics are made from organic cotton, breathable canvas and recycled PET plastic. 

At PAIZO, we understand that kids grow fast, and so do their feet, so that's why we've carefully selected materials that are perfect for growing little toes.

Super Sustainable Kids' Shoes

Our vegan faux leather is crafted from recycled PET plastic and not only feels comfortable on busy little feet but it is kind to the planet too.

Our recycled PET has a credible leather appearance while maintaining sustainability at its core. For the inner lining, we've chosen sustainable organic cotton, ensuring a positive impact on the environment.

Another step towards sustainability is our decision to only create unisex shoes. Kids' shoes have a limited lifespan due to how fast their feet grow. However, PAIZO shoes aim to break this cycle. If taken care of, our unisex shoes can be passed on from one little adventurer to another.

Easy-On, Safe and Non-Slip Kids' Shoes

At PAIZO, we’ve considered all angles while creating the perfect sustainable children's shoe range and one thing that has always been at the forefront of our mind is safety.

Each pair of shoes is crafted with maximum grip soles, giving much-needed traction on slippery surfaces. Our quick-drying materials and secure soles mean playtime is that bit safer for your adventure seeker.

Parents know the struggle of wriggling and jiggling little feet into shoes all too well. That's why PAIZO shoes were designed to be easy on and off, without laces or fuss.

Vegan Shoes For Children

We look at this in a simple way, if we can create vegan footwear for children, why wouldn’t we? 

Without the need to compromise on anything, we make quality shoes that are safe, sustainable and stylish, with no need for animal-derived materials.

We feel that by using vegan materials, we’re working towards a kinder and more sustainable planet for our family’s future.

More Than Just Shoes - Dinner Time Sorted Too

PAIZO was first created from the idea of sustainable shoes for kids but sustainability doesn’t end at footwear. There are many more steps we can take to make the early years of our little ones' lives that bit more eco-friendly. 

This is why PAIZO has a wonderful range of accessories too, including cups that double up as snack pots, bibs, suction plates and cutlery. 

These accessories are made with partially recycled and eco-friendly silicone that can also be recycled again.

Sustainable Packaging And Delivery

At PAIZO, we deeply care about the world moving closer to zero-waste and further from single-use plastic. So, when it comes to our packaging we've thought outside the box and introduced a more eco-friendly and adorable solution. 

All feeding sets and accessories come in plastic-free and recycled packaging and every little shoe delivery comes in a reusable handcrafted cotton tote bag.
